I have the same status' and I called them yesterday. the rep said that it will be a combo card even with that Case Received status on I-131. Also that they need to do about 2-3 checks on the card after it's been produced so it's correct and also a background check so it might take up to 30 days (her words). She also mentioned that the scheduling of the interview takes a while because of all the process involved in sending it to the local office from National Benefits Center and them scheduling. I don't have a second biometrics appointment as they took prints of all my fingers in my first one.

they took all my fingerprints on my first biometrics too, but when i spoke with a tier 2 agent about the second appointment they said i need to go.....

Just got an update on case tracker that my i765- new card is being produced. i131 is still on case was received

I was in the same situation like a week ago - EAD being produced and no news on AP - well, actually my AP processing time was already overdue...and 2 days later both changed into "approved". I received the NOA this Tuesday and it says that I'll receive a combo card. So I think it's reasonable to assume you'll get a combocard, too :D

My i-765 and i-131 status changed to "Case was approved." and mentioned I will be getting an approval notice through mail.

Will the approval notice include my combo card?

No. The Notice of Action (I-797) is "just" an official letter telling you your case was approved and describing what the next steps will be.

The card itself will arrive later.

Ahhh you also have a second biometrics! I also called them and they said I had to go because in the off chances that they can’t decide on my green card interview I would at least be able to make an emergency travel. I find it funny that both of us need to go again while our EADs are approved already 🤣

Yup! We filed mid-March and the interview was scheduled end of August. We got the interview letter in the mail about a week after the status change online.

That's awesome. We filed mid-March as well and I'm also from Taiwan. May I know on what state are you currently in now? I'm in California.
