My I-765 changed to "New card being produced" as well today. Exciting, and happy so many are getting the same notice without expedite! I am assuming that I-131 is going to be approved very soon as well, and that they will produce a combo card.

Now time to go back to being a normal productive human being! :)

Concurrent I-485/I-130/I-765/I-131 Filing (married to USC spouse):

2/23/2020: Sent in application via FedEx (following rules before new Public Charge rule)ย

2/25/2020: Arrived in Chicago, IL
3/13/2020: Packaged received in return and rejected due to "outdated forms"
3/24/2020: Refiled application with new forms including I-944
3/25/2020: Arrived in Chicago, IL (received by Harper)

4/13/2020: Received 4 late-night texts with case numbers
4/14/2020: Application fee withdrawn from my bank account

4/17/2020: Received hard copies of Receipt NOAs (I-797Cs)
4/17/2020: Requested EAD expedite
4/20/2020: EAD expedite request denied: Case in "in suspense or on hold until we receive your biometrics" +ย  did not provide evidence of "extreme emergent need"
8/1/2020: Received biometrics appointment notice (for I-485 and I-765)
8/11/2020: Biometrics appointment at the ASC in Sacramento, CA

8/12/2020: Online case status for I-485 and I-765 updated to "fingerprints related to ... have been applied to your case"

8/17/2020: Online case status for I-131ย updated to "fingerprints related to ... have been applied to your case"

8/18/2020: Online case status for I-485ย updated to "we are ready to schedule yourย ... for an interview"

Wow March is on fire, so many approvals and new cards being produced very nice. But don't forget to continue to gather your documents and evidences for your AOS interview.

UPDATE ๐Ÿ˜

ย

As of today, Sept 4, my I-765 status changed to "new card being produced" ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ however, my AP still says fingerprints were taken. I hope I'll get a combo card soon!ย

Yes it will be a combo card. For some reason the I-131 when applied with the I-765 takes a back seat ride, but they usually almost always send out the combo card

I would suspect no more than a couple of weeks at the most. During these times everything takes a little longer, but you are over the hump now....enjoy!!!!

Also in Cali, and also have a similar timeline. I got a letter saying that they had applied my fingerprints to I-131 too on Aug 18th, but no updates since. Seems to me that they are processing EAD cards based on the date they received the application. I am tracking 250 cases around my application number, and people who sent in their application around 2/26 are getting their EAD approved now. My application was received 3/25, so I am expecting another month for my EAD to get approved unless I expedite it. I need a job to expedite it though, so I am working on that now. Good news is that they seem to have figured out the printing issue, and you will receive the physical card about a week after it gets approved.

I'm in San Francisco and my EAD changed to Card Being Produced on Saturday. My NOA date is 03/18 and fingerprints on 08/12. I'd say that your might change/be approved very soon.ย

Hooray!!! SO good to hear EAD&AP cards are being produced! ๐Ÿ˜

I have just fished twoย I-797 from the mailbox, that's 6 days after my status of EAD and AP changed to "approved". Now hoping that the actual card itself will arrive very soon! I better start polishing my CV ๐Ÿ˜ And obviously, I guess just like sooo many ppl right now, start booking a ticket to visit my family! ๐Ÿ˜ So surreal ๐Ÿคฏ But feels great!! ๐Ÿ˜Ž There is hope ๐Ÿ˜Š
