Hubby had his appointment today. Was pretty painless. Was in and out within 20 minutes. There were about 5 other people doing biometrics, each doing theirs at separate stations evenly spaced apart. There was a security guard at the door that asks for your appointment letter and passport. At the station they take your photo and then take fingerprint of each finger. Hubby was a tad nervous and was sweating a bit, so the women had to try to take his fingerprint multiple times, but they got it in the end, lol.

Same as my experience.
why was he so nervous?!?

Congratz! Did you also apply for 131? And did they ask you to take biometrics for 131 too? My husband applied all 485 131 and 765. But biometrics were for only 485 and 765. Hoping the ead will include the AP without its biometrics..

Yes we did apply for the 131, but the biometrics were only for the 485 and 765. We're going the biometrics they took will also be used for the 131.

I filed AOS on 30 th march and after 2 days USCIS received it. That means that my priority date is 1 st April and I should count my 4-6 months timelines from 1st April. I was surprised that customer specialist mentioned that USCIS started processing my case on 24th April. So, I should count for 4-6 months from 24 th April. She was not able to justify when I disagreed her. Let me know what you think on this?

I filed April 24... NOA dates for my EAD is April 24, NOA for my AOS is June 4 for some reason.. I think the i485 goes from the date your local office receives it.. or that seems to be the case for me
