Congratulations! Same here EAD and AP was approved on May 5 without biometrics and still waiting the card. Probably I think they will send us a biometrics appointment when  they will open on June 4.

Hello mako_5, have u had any biometrics in the US before for any other visas? Or just when you entered in the US that was it? I am curious to know if my fiance’s EAd could be approved without biometrics done.

Hello, no i don't had any biometrics before  in  any visas. That's why I think they will send me appointment for biometrics when they will reopen on June 4 and after that they will produce a EAD card

Have you gotten any USCIS officer to confirm that they are indeed just waiting for your biometrics? Sounds very annoying to have your EAD approved, but not mailed to you. Could there be any other issue? Unfortunately the application support centers, where the finger prints are taken, will not open on June 4th. From USCIS website: "Application support centers will resume services later" Not sure what later means, but it doesn't sound promising to me. 😕

8/11/2020: Biometrics appointment at the ASC in Sacramento, CA

Hi guys! Update. I got my  approval notices for  I 765. I 131,  from USCIS   by mail on saturday, next  i start calling today  to USCIS to ask: What is next step? Do i need biometrics? all that questions so i asked that i need to talk with Tier 2 the man on the line asked why i need Tier 2? I explained that i got approval notices on my I 765 and  I 131 applications  but i didn't had a biometrics, when i should expect a biometrics appointment  or card? He told me since you approved wait your card  in  60 days. So my next  question was since i didn't do  biometrics where they get my picture and fingerprint,  he told me that since COVID -19  they using pictures from all their sources. So that man didn't connect me with Tier 2.  But anyway  how i see people who got approved they had a updates on USCIS site  almost immediately  that New card is being prodused, i dont have that update, so i don't know what to think. Maybe i  need try to call later or in June if  no receive a card by that time.

@David_Norway this is information i got in  that day.

Looks like there has been a rash of I-765s and I-131 approvals lately all across the filing months. maybe they are trying to clear out a bunch of stuff to be ready for the re-openings. Hopefully this will work in your favors!

Could I ask if any of you who did not submit foreign school evaluations but received an approved EAD or green card? It was part of the form i-944 questions. My fiance has BA from foreign college. We only submitted copy of certificate (English) and transcripts in English. These were printed directly printed from his college website and we didnt have to translate it. I hope these are sufficient. I havent done evaluation from naces.org.. any feedback would be appreciated thanks!

Hey March Filers!

Looking at the 100 visa applications before mine shows that quite a few status changes happened on June 1st or May 28th , To case was approved or card was produced. I'm guessing its someone in the March filers? or hoping so, because it hopefully means more news for the rest of us...Anyone in the group?

It’s probably too soon, i944 hasn’t been mandatory for too long and EAD usually takes a few months

why are they taking so long! !??? 🤣

Idk :( such a mess but what can you expect from USCIS they are never clear in what’s happening. Still baffling to me that there has been notification or letter explaining the delay or any updates about it.

That's so great to hear, you got approved. When I requested an expedite for humanitarian reasons (I have a job offer on hand), I was denied due to no biometrics. I'm not sure why some get approved without biometrics and others don't :(
