That's awesome congrats! Guess I should start looking into calling uscis support.

Soco,

You absolutely should.  I had thought of you guys last night when I was looking over who was still waiting (I’ve been waiting for text messages until about 1:30 in the morning each night).

For those not getting word within about 10-14 days, it really does seem like they push up around 28-30 days, so I’m hoping you’ll have news in the next day (or in any telephone call today).

Please let us know.  I understand what a nightmare it is to be second-guessing everything.

Press 1, 1, 2, 2 and then # (You can input those quickly).

That’ll connect you.  Give your A-number (if you have one).  They should be able to look you up regardless.

Well, got through pretty quickly but the support person said "it can take 30 days so give it a few more days".

Doesn’t seem like the executive order will affect people already here at all. Doesn’t make sense for it too anyways. I’m just worried about how it’ll affect my wife getting her EAD as we never got a biometrics appt. Everything shut down essentially right when we theoretically would’ve gotten scheduled. Our NOA was 45 days ago and no other correspondence.

We’re just very glad and lucky to be together since this all happened so fast right after she arrived although she’s anxious to start working.

We might try to call and see how an expedite might work without biometrics since she works in healthcare and is in contact with some employers already.

I saw a lot of March 25 processing going on in the case tracker over the past couple of days.  If it makes you feel any better, they hadn’t a record of our case in the system last night.  Would try again tomorrow!

Well,

I submitted the first time on 29th Feb, and got rejected on 16th Mar because I missed I-944 (I didn't noticed it - wish I have submitted it just 1 weeks ealier).

Submitted again on 23th Mar (delivered 25th Mar by Harper at Chicago Lockbox). No sms/ no email. I have been dying waiting for the receipt number.

Follow to the advice here, call USCIS number (1,1,2,2#; provide A-number, first name, last name, DoB, address) and was told my application was accepted today!

But dealing another issue as my daughter's application (filed along mine) got rejected...

Bright side, at least having something to keep myself busy...

Great news! For people already in the US, it doesn't have any effect. We still need the service centers to open up though, so let's just chill at home and avoid spreading the virus.

But I don't find any related to K-2 visa holder - already in the US? Any idea?

The EO only applies to aliens who "are outside the United States on the effective date of this proclamation"

If you are currently in the US, it doesn't apply, regardless of your status.

means they accepted it, you could still get an RFE, but they didnt flat out reject them. Look for your check deposit and hard copies in a few days.  When you check the USCIS website case status, it should turn to finger print payment receive.  I believe that is were we all will end up till things open again.

Grrrrrr so frustrating... I just got DQ at NVC..... why is it one day after mailing off AOS they decide to give me DQ!

Been stuck at NVC since oct last year, they finally backflipped and accepted the same document they rejected in jan... now I have to choose, risk flying home for final interview and come back or stay and spend another 9 months or so processing AOS after already wasting 2 years on the damn IR process

any chance they’ll speed AOS stuff up based on already being approved pending interview?
