My husband just got his biometrics appointment letter today! Scheduled for 8/4  just outside of Los Angeles. We never had an appointment scheduled before. Exciting that there is movement!

Hi y'all! I just received my appointment notice for my biometrics. Have to go in 8/6 in Kansas City! Hope everyone will get theirs soon. Im super happy to have received the appointment notice.

My documentation was received on 1st April. Still no text or email. I appreciate with what’s happening in the world things are taking longer. 
 

I’ve rechecked the delivery address 10 times to make sure UPS delivered it to Chicago 🤣 Has anyone else done the same?!

Yeah, I understand what you mean and I wish they could too. My status has been “Fingerprint fee was received” for over 30 days now.
VJ sent me an email saying the projected processing time for my EAD application has changed and  based on their data, it is now August. Was supposed to be June.

hopefully, this Covid-19 will pass and things will return to normal. In the meantime stay safe.

A random question but I had 3 EAD cards issued in the past because I have an OPT STEM degree in the states. I never had to do biometrics for my past EADs (fairly recent too). Is this a new requirement?

I have had EADs issued to be before as well for OPT and STEM OPT. I'm not an expert on the history of immigration/EAD requirements, but it's my understanding that getting an EAD through AOS is different than from getting through OPT. So not a new requirement, just a different process with different requirements.

Give them 30 working days before you stress. Sometimes it takes that long. 😃


4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!

ours arrived March 25 and we still haven't heard anything.

Removal of Conditions:

Package Delivered - January 19, 2023

NOA Date - January 24, 2023

NOA Received - January 27, 2023

Biometrics Waived- January 31, 2023

Hi Everyone,

 

I have a question about the I-944 assets section - did anyone else's total amount (U.S dollars) double the cash value amount when the autofill kicked in? I'm assuming it's on purpose but just want to make sure.

Just updating this with my information:

 

AOS Package Received at Chicago Lockbox: 24th March (original package rejected on 11th March).

 

Still no NOAs/text messages/check cashing.

 

Let’s see if they’ve rejected it!  (I didn’t put N/A or None - left blanks instead.  Saw some worries about that being a cause of rejection here, so it’s on my mind now!  Lol/urgh).
