I don't own dogs.  I eat them.

Ohhhhh, gaegogi? 😭

I'm a flexitarian, but I keep my meat consumption mostly to chicken and fish, with the occasional bit of roast beef or bacon. Ham sandwiches if I'm making them for someone else. No gaegogi, but bulgogi, sometimes.

Okay I will also accept monkey pics.

At least once, that I know of (possibly more than once?).  I also suspect I've had cat, though that's just a guess.  Horse, rabbit, balut, squirrel, bison, chicken, beef, pork, lamb, goat, snake, gator, iguana, turtle, duck, goose, quail, just about anything that comes out of the ocean... I am not picky.

Rabbit I love. They are super cute... and super tasty. I used to live near this tapas place in Berkeley with the most amazing rabbit croquettes, and they went so well with a glass of sherry. I really miss that place. Best paella too.

Snails I like if done properly. I've had gator, and it was okay. Bison I've cooked with several times, and eaten plenty of wild boar sausages. Ostrich too, which I can't remember how it tasted. Sea cucumber is the most disgusting thing I've ever had to taste. 🤮

Haggis ugh. :dead: Not as bad as the sea cucumber but no.

Ahhh, I forgot the S-car-go.  Love it.  Having handled sea cucumbers in the water, that is one I don't think I would ever try.  Ostrich... I don't think so on the meat, but definitely the eggs.

But my favorite of all was cold-smoked black bear.  That meat was unlike anything I have ever put in my mouth.  Sweet(ish) and SO tender.  Not at all what I was expecting.  At home, a slow-cooked prime rib is my personal favorite.

I am still salivating over the memory of your prime rib pics!!!

There was a whole thing on this podcast I love, Last Podcast on the Left, about eating bear and how nasty it was supposed to be. But listeners wrote in and said some bear is good eating. Hm!

Okay shower time for real, I need to be on the road by 11:45 and I have to do a deep conditioning this morning.

The zookeeper paused while walking past the monkey's cage, because he noticed the monkey studying two books, side by side:  The Holy Bible, and Darwin's "The Origin of Species."

"Why are you reading those books?"  The zookeeper asked.

Without looking up, the monkey replied, "I'm trying to figure out whether I'm my brother's keeper or my keeper's brother."
