If anyone can get thru to the NVC overt he phone it'd be nice to hear what they say about scheduling appts.

How do those who got interviews canceled rescheduled? Does the NVC do it for them, do they schedule themselves?

Are they automatically at the front of the line? So many questions lol

DQ!!!!!!!!!! Finally!
Second Submission January 20th
Without 5540

For cases like mine:
My husband is Brazilian and American. He has never lived or filed taxes in the USA. To facilitate our process, he moved to Florida a year ago and I stayed in Brazil. We made our process alone. We sent the I-130 and the I-129. We were approved in 3 months. When we arrived at the NVC, we knew about the complications of our case because we had no taxes from previous years. I submitted the documents in November even though I knew I wouldn't have everything. It was great by the way because my Brazilian certificate was new and it was not approved. I also made the mistake of sending the I-184 editable. In January when I received the RFE (certificate, new non-editable form and request from a joint sponsor), I sent again the form and certificate and also the income taxes of 2019, W2 and 1099.
We got a joint sponsor, but he was not able to deliver the documents to us yet. And thank God I didn't have to use them.
We received our DQ and we are very happy that in the midst of so much bad news, this phase we won!!!

Thank you all for your support and information.

Good luck and have faith!

😊🙌

Congratulations you giving me alot of hope my second submit is the same 😃

Congrats on the DQ. What was your I-184 like? (I'm worried because I only electronically "printed" my form, except for the signature page, so it's not editable by regular PDF readers but advanced editing software like Adobe Acrobat can easily modify the form. Not sure if mine would qualify or not...) Thanks!

What was your RFE?

Apparently we got the wrong police record. For Brazil you need two specific reports and we got one wrong.
