Hello,

did you upload the 2018 tax as the “required” income form or under “additional”?

Only US based income and assets qualify. You should be good if your 2019 US based income is 125% above the poverty line, but make sure that your spouse bring all (original) documentation to the interview.

Under required. Thanks for the confirmation.

Hey guys,

silly question - do you submit AOS once complete even if civil docs are still being worked on? Or are we supposed to press submit once both streams have been completed?

You can submit them before, they just won’t be looked at until both are submitted :)

Hey- update.  The messages did load eventually.  Apparently I added my mother as MY household member, not my father's household member.  I have to re-add her as my father's household member and resubmit her documents.  I find this very odd because I feel like I wouldn't have made such a silly mistake, but I have no way of verifying if it was truly my mistake because they already removed her from my CEAC account.  I called and asked if it would be another 9 weeks before they even look at my case again, and of course the woman said she couldn't make any promises and then gave me a long speech about not rushing through the submission and that it would be all worth it in the end 🙄.  I appreciate her partial empathy (lecturing?), but I feel like I've been punched in the stomach thinking of another possible 2+ month wait.  It's so unfair that ONE little thing that would take no time to review sits in their queue for two months.

I just had something very similar happen to me.  Totally sucks to have to wait another 2 months.  Sorry it happened to you too.

Totally OT maybe but this week some submissions from Jan 9 got DQ’d, one from the 15th... uh I hope they really are that far in this week that they’re working on dates 15 and upwards and if not, this is wracking my brain how their review process works at NVC!! >.<

Is there anyone who submitted from 9–15 who HASN’T gotten their DQ yet???

Should I expect any issues traveling to the US while I am still waiting for DQ from the NVC? I still have an active ESTA.

Coronavirus permitting.

Sorry MRamak, I have no answer for that. Hope someone else on the forum knows more about it.

Thanks Alix64. Quick update...after a couple of calls to NVC, was told from a courteous lady that NVC now accepts these uploads provided document is clearly readable and no corners are cut out. Keeping my fingers crossed...😐

Received an email from NVC 2 hours ago advising me of a change blablabla.

All documents have been accepted with no flag , one message in box which i couldn't open title:

Documents review note

Any idea? Anyone with same experience.

Click on the message once and leave it open for a few minutes for it to show up

It might be a request for an additional document since there was no DQ message

See, Brexit wasn't all bad :) - It is crazy though, I have been watching the news like I hawk! I expected we would be included in the Europe catch all BS>
