They asked to select country but I didn’t see USA

Hey Fergie876

You have already sent a list of all your trips to the US (I think I remember right...🤪)

So here, put the countries that are in the list and that you have indeed visited.

Take care,

Alix

Random thought for the evening. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could have sent / uploaded everything (USCIS & NVC) @ the same  time? That way there wouldn’t be two separate wait times.

Dreaaaaamer! You know you are a dreaaaaaamer! (cf Supertramp, for those you don't know the song 😉)

I would be nice indeed 🤫

Maybe one day hahahaha and in any case it's too late for us 😬 but yes that would be nice.

France is known for its baguette, wine, filthy streets and everyday new strikes (and many other "fun" things) but also for its administration tons of papers. Well going through that process (from getting married in France with a US citizen to NVC today), I realised how France has really made a big effort on paperworks and how lots of things are available fast and online. But it is a much smaller country than the US, probably easier to change that aspect.

Have a good Sunday!

Alix

Thank you! I tried before and they rejected it.  Our own state travel site says in all caps do not enter into these areas due to high crime...her neighborhood is on the list!  She hears gunshots daily!!  They don't care.  Just submitted everything again an am praying all finally goes through.  This would never have happened in the first place if one of their agents hadn't instructed us to submit the wrong form initially.  Hope you have a wonderful day!

Wishing you all the best. Hope you get your review done quickly for the sake of you and your family. Best thing we can do is keep our spirits up and encourage others to remain steadfast, too, while waiting.

Oh my ..

they did the same to us ( asking papeworks already submitted and accepted ) that’s why we called the local congressmen .
i never had such rude people on the phone , and when you had to try sometimes 50 times before being on hold for more than an hour you expect to have someone nice but no !
i understand your stress I was the same .

its gonna happen don’t worry , soon , they can’t keep you under RFE forever .
We’ve been in the same c*** for almost 19 month so I understand the pain , the stress , the doubt ..

your time will come , soon my friend , you will see 🍀

good luck !

Now this scares me. I had all of my documents accepted and they just asked for an additional W-2 upload for the RFE. I'm kinda anxious now that they suddenly might ask to resubmit stuff with this second review. 😶

Did you asked to talk to a supervisor when you called NVC to explain your situation ?

For mine,  I picked the bank account option and then under location I specified "TFSA, Canada" 🤷‍♀️ who knows!

Heads up - once you become a resident, the $ you have in your TFSA is no longer tax free !

Hi All,

New here - we just received approval of our I-130 on March 4th, and case was created at NVC on March 5th. We paid the fees, and today the system updated AOS and IV fee to paid and I started uploading documents for AOS.

I have one question though. I read everywhere about choosing an Agent (form DS-261) which is nowhere to be found under our accounts, doesn't matter if we log in as Beneficiary or as Petitioner. I'm able to open the DS-260 and fill it out.

Is this normal?

Maybe worth noting that we have filed I-130 online and have IOE case number.

Totally normal. DS261 isn't used anymore and either the beneficiary or petitioner can access the DS260, pay fees, and upload and submit docs

No, I didn't call NVC. I just did the note they put on my case which said to submit the W-2 of my joint sponsor. Sorry if I wasn't clear on that. 😅

Ok 👌

How many passport pictures should I upload?

We submitted just one and it was accepted, I don't think it matters too much whether it's one or two so long as it's US passport photo style
