Thanks !That makes much more sense ! I can`t imagine them wanting to decipher people`s handwritings on every I864. Unfortunately I had date printed ... All over again ...

I also printed the date using computer, but signed in ink, just like what I did for I-130, let's see

Don't panic, you should be fine. I did exactly the same you did, filled out the form electronically but signed in ink and got DQ.

Hopefully! This process is so stressful lol

It is totally fine because the form instructions specifically states that the signature needs to be in ink not stamped or typed.

As long as you signed in ink you should be fine.

it takes 7-9 weeks for them to review. I waited at least 7 weeks.  :)

True. But Im referring to what they update on their site every week the dates that they’re reviewing cases from. But it seems like sometimes they do randomly view later submitted cases. But either way lucky you!! :D

For anyone filling out the DS-5540, how did you answer number 12 on page 3? "If you or your family requested or received a public benefit, were you or your family members exempt from public charge during that period?"

I'm afraid to leave it blank because I don't want NVC to say it's incomplete and then get an RFE but if I say no, it means that my husband wasn't exempt from public charge and if I answer yes it means my husband did request a public benefit. I'm so confused :(

I'm also curious about this.

I am also wondering if you all think it's fine to hand write your answers in so for questions like this we could write, not applicable.🤔

Hang on there, Guys!

Congrats! Hope you get your interview letter ASAP also. Will you be scheduled at Islamabad? Do let us know when your interview letter came and date so I can get an idea of their appointment times!
