I did not. So I don’t believe you should.

I got a letter from my employer stating that I'm currently enrolled in employer offer health care plan and when my wife arrives she will be added to my health insurance promptly. In addition to that applicant will also have to fill up the Public Charge Questionnaire (DS-5540) form.

However the embassy never asked my wife for this when she appeared but she learned that they have started to ask for this info starting next week.

Thanks for the link, I just tracked wifey passport and it’s says it’s ready for pickup but we haven’t received any email? Can she still go and pick it up or there is a vital info in that email she need to bring with her?

His email didn’t contain any other info, just telling him it was ready for pickup. Make sure the email isn’t in the spam folder. I think it comes from the sender “Do Not Reply”. I don’t see an issue with her going if she doesn’t live too far from the embassy (don’t want to waste a trip). It’s the weekend anyway and she can’t go until Monday, she may receive the email Monday too.

What is the good number to call the NVC,I called this number‭1 (603) 334-0700‬ and always busy and call later again ,please need help

Call very early in the morning, preferably like 6-7 AM. You want to be one of the first person calling as soon as the office opens for business. By the time 8-9AM comes around, their phone banks are already too full and that's when you get the dreaded "busy...call again".

The new the date on the bottom left corner says Oct 15, 2019. However, I downloaded the form in Dec 2019 and it was dated 03/06/2018 (Expiring 03/31/2020).

I might be wrong on the form being released on Feb 24th 2020. However, it was definitely released after Dec 16th 2019 as that is when I download and filled the previous version (approved by NVC).

It's possible the form was intended to be released on Oct 15, 2019 but was put on hold due to the courts blocking public charge.

you must have downloaded the wrong form.

I know they released that new form few days before 10/15/2019. Which I downloaded at that time and it has expiry date 10/31/2021 and bottom left says, 10/15/19

It's possible I made a mistake. I'll have to use the new form for the interview anyway because I will be using the 2019 return at interview time.

I call later at night around 8pm Eastern time.

You'll "NEVER" get through at that time. Call around the time I suggested (6-7AM Eastern Time) ... you'll have to set aside that time just to make that call. Just set your alarm on your phone since I'd imagine this is very important to you.

Do you know, if they go over Form 864 line by line with the applicant?

I believe your interview will be in Islamabad. The link above is a good resource to research what to expect in the interview in Islamabad. I haven't found anything to suggest they ask the beneficiary about the 864. They might ask about relationship with the person\persons filing the 864. We haven't done our interview yet so we will find out.

Did you also upload your 2019 return and w2s to CEAC? And are you also taking tax transcripts for years 16,17,18 returns or just 17,18 and 19?

I have not uploaded my new 864 to Ceac yet. I will upload the new 864 and 2019 return & w2 soon before the interview. I uploaded the 2018 return for my old 864 and will be uploading the 2019 return only for the new 864. The return from last year is mandatory, other two are optional.

I will ask my wife to take the old 864 and 2018 transcript in one packet. I'll ask her to make a separate packet with the new 864 and 2019 return.

They should not ask for it if the interview is before April 15th. However, our interview date is on April 6th and the visa itself might be issued after April 15th. I don't know what Islamabad's policy is regarding outdated i864\taxes at the time of visa issuance so I want to submit the 2019 return just to be safe.

Our interview date is April 10 and we have a joint sponsor as well. It would be just extra paperwork is what im thinking, when the tax deadline will still be a few days away...as far as what i have read, they really onlycare about the information you have up until the interview i doubt they would make ypu upload outdated stuff after the interview, if they intended to issue the visa.

Better safe than sorry i guess! Having the 2019 tax info in hand is probably best. I have heard islamabad embassy is quiet picky

Islamabad is one the pickier embassies indeed. Everyone's situation is different so filing a new 864 with 2019 info might not be the ideal course of action for you. We already have our tax documents prepared so are going ahead with filing them.

Good luck with your interview.
