What is the good number to call the NVC,I called this number‭1 (603) 334-0700‬ and always busy and call later again ,please need help

You just have to keep calling over and over until you hear a ring at the beginning and then stay on the line to do the menu. Best times to call are when they first open at 7am and in the evening

So I already got DQ and my interview date scheduled. I went on CEAC today just to double check the documents I need to print and I noticed the status for the sponsor went from "ACCEPTED" to "INCOMPLETE."

When I click on it it says it's missing i-864ez, should I just ignore this? I mean we already submitted the i-864 and we don't qualify to fill out the i-864ez.

Please just upload it I got it too and i uploaded it

Wife got the visa yesterday.  After such a long wait.

Someone wise on these forums once said this couple of years ago when we began our waiting journey  "if the day is coming that you dream about , the ordeal that you are suffering is sacred"

It definitely feels that way now. Hope your significant other gets the interview as soon and you be together. God bless.  Thanks to everyone here in VJ community for sharing their knowledge and helping each other out, it definitely made it easier.

I-130 approved -  Sep 26 2019

NVC Received - Oct 8th 2019

Case Created - Oct 28th 2019

Fee Paid - Nov 5th 2019

Doc Submitted - Nov 10th 2019

DQ - January 2nd 2020

IL - Feb 25 2020

Interview - March 2nd 2020

Congrats. But did you say she got the Visa,??? From which Embassy?

They dont issue visa on the spot.

I believe her passport was collected if that is what you mean.

Thanks

We were one of the first interviews since the ban, we did not file any paperwork regarding a waiver, it was automatically considered and a week exactly after our interview, it says his visa has been issued!! should I file for 2019 taxes? I had the same job for past 4 yrs, still working there,  income way above poverty line, I have 2019 w2s, employer letter verifying for current income. But I don't have my 2019 completed. Isn't my 2018 - 2016 enough?

my interview is in 2nd week of April but way before April 15. is that a risk to not file. I have take extension to interview? I didn't submit 2019 taxes to NVC, cause it was in Oct 2019.

@dwheels76Hi, do you have like a status report for Nigeria interviews showing approvals or denials since the 24th? Maybe we can learn from what each person was told at the interview. All I have heard so far have not been good, waivers and all. But I do know for certain anyone with a valid visitor's visa got approved. Let's share so we can learn (this is only for interviews in Nigeria since 24th)

No i don;t do that. I know a few people interviewed after Ban got Visa issued and picking them up. So all is well.

Our attorney said don’t upload and see what they say at the interview. I’m not a fan of the wait and see approach and didn’t want to be sent home to

upload. They thanked us for uploading. They didn’t want proof of anything, she said I’ve got it all here. They never even asked about taxes W2 or money in general. Never mentioned the DS5540. Now, if something had not been acceptable I’m sure that they would have brought it up.

I’ve been living overseas so we’ve had a global policy that covers everywhere. It’s with Aetna. I also uploaded proof of the quotes that we got for permanent coverage in the USA which we will get within 2 weeks of his arrival. Arrive by 15th and it’s covered on 1st of the following month. That’s when this other policy would expire anyways.

generic questions - Where did you meet. Tell me about his family. Why didn’t you have a big wedding. Are you having a wedding in USA? Why not? Tell me about the NGO that you work for. What is his job now? He goes to church? Do you speak his language? (Haha my whole family does even though we aren’t from here weve all worked here before my parents have been here since 1999) They asked about our age gap (I’m older by 10 years) His passport photos triggered some kind of facial recognition to some other person and she kept asking him again and again if he ever applied for a visa before and if he is lying right now. She kept threatening lifetime ban. We withdrew our K-1 in early 2017 and had been open about on all our documents and at the interview, but this was some other guy completely. She checked his fingerprints a second time and confirmed it wasn’t him.

Overall it was alright. We sure weren’t expecting the grilling on him looking like somebody else.

Did you fill a new i864 and upload that as well? Our interview is on April 6th and I will be filling our 2019 taxes shortly.

I'm thinking of filling a new i864 and attaching a copy of my filled return with w2 (transcript won't be available so soon). Do you recommend uploading the documents to ceac as well?
