As is, it should not be affecting the majority of us anyway, as it says it does not, for instance, apply to spouses of US citizens (for now 🤪) (making this assumption based on this being a CR1/IR1 subthread 🙈 no offense to anyone filing for a different category!)

Lolz..Nigerians too are not affected as they’re not among the schengen area countries..talk more of europe. All I need is just d visa stamped and I can enter at a much later date b4 the 6months expiration date cause even the US itsef  isn’t safe for now.

Services in Germany are also being limited to emergency only starting tomorrow (source: https://de.usembassy.gov/mission-germany-change-in-operations/).

Some people on this forum have had interviews cancelled that were meant to take place this coming week, but were able to reschedule for early April, and so far I haven't received a cancellation notice for 04/07 either (knock on wood, fingers crossed, etc.!), so as of now, while it looks like a "until further notice" thing, it seems to be a March-thing only for Germany.

DCF can reschedule themselves it seems; going through NVC we can’t unless the consulate specifically tells us to and enables it online as far as I know.
