MARCH 2020 K-1 NOA2 to NVC to Embassy

We finally received an email from the NVC stating that the "NVC will now forward the petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in Mexico City, Mexico." Originally, K-1 appointments were processed in Ciudad Juarez, which is reflected on the DS-160 I had filled out previously. Do I need to start a completely new DS-160? Thank you for your help!

That's great! You are lucky you won't have to go to Cd. Juarez!  But you will need a new DS-160.  Someone I know had put Mexico City on theirs by accident and took it to their interview in Juarez.  They were sent out to fix it but allowed to bring it back that day.  Better to just do it again now

Hello Jim, new to this thread but I noticed nvc sent your application to embassy (finally !) and I also noticed your timeline. I received an email from nvc on june 8th and ceac case status reflects that they have forward the application to NVC but no mention of an interview date. I'm sure all cases are being handled with their respective dates but im worried I am supposed to schedule the interview or do I wait for the consulate to email me or my fiance ? Thanks a lot in advance.
