This is crazy. I wonder what "higher priority" means for K1 if they will be interviewed only after "full" routine services resume. I don't think embassies will do routine services until Coronavirus pandemic is over or new administration is in the White House in January 2021.

They are processing and scheduling interviews for K-1's now but only at certain embassies. Those embassies are returning to "full" routine services.

I wouldn't hold my breath on your last reference because it will be the same administration. We are seeing the rerun of the H. Clinton debatable unfold where the left-wing media is portraying "Ole" Joe as the winner.

We have the same NOA2 date, and had our application sent to embassy on 29th Sept, with case status "ready" on 5th Oct.

Currently waiting for Packet 3 instructions, and fingers crossed interview soon.

Embassy: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Where did you obtain this screenshot? I am looking at my status on ceac.state.gov and it looks a little different than this. Mine doesn’t show dates.

That’s where I’m going too. Maybe it’s because my status is still In Transit? Which I think is odd because I received an email on September 16th stating it would be shipped to the embassy and it hasn’t changed since then

That is a bit odd. But I honestly wouldn’t worry too much about it. Did you see the screenshot I posted further up? It’s an email response from the embassy saying that I should ignore the status “Ready”. So, I don’t really think it’s important at this moment.

Yeah, that’s true. It just sucks...I’m tired of waiting. But I know this is only the beginning of waiting on the whole immigration process. Fingers crossed some good news comes soon for all of us!

I hear you. I’m over it too. This is pretty much unbearable and the waiting game and not knowing is slowly eating me up!
Crossing my fingers as well!

I know some who have did everything in this P3 and returned it to the embassy and were rewarded with a P4 and the ability to schedule their interview all without waiting for them to mail them the P3 in the first place. Good luck and stay engaged.

Hello Greenbaum I'm just wondering something,

I had completed my DS 160 back in April. I have just returned from visiting and the CEAC site won't let me retrieve the application to update it. I'm going to try another browser but just incase I have seen you say that I could ask them to update it at the interview if I printed out my I-94?

thanks and I am filling things in now to send to see what happens

Hi there,

Just want to give you some support.. hopefully the situation will stabilize soon for your embassy to open up.

In the mean time, you can start collecting documents or get familiarize, so once it's open you can speed up the process even more..

In our case, medical has to be done first before scheduling interview.

Stay strong ❤️
