Consulate wants Chat records but some are lost due a hacker problem

Had my interview before the Nigerian ban, and i was required to get a joint sponsor, which i already submitted and recently got a mail saying to submit our chat from the beginning of our relationship. The thing is i can only get some of it and most from after some weeks of meeting, which we lost the few weeks from a hacker problem my wife and i both faced. But i didn't remember to tell the consular officer this because he won't even believe that i can't get the chat because of how long we have talked everyday for 3 years. But finally i went to the our first chat and few weeks are missing from my end and my wife's is missing like a month. What should i do? Urgent help please.

Submit what you are able to starting from the beginning of your relationship. They don’t want to see every single chat from every single day anyways, they likely just want to see you have had regular communication

Should everyone Interviewing print out chats from the beginning of their relationship? That’s also required??

The full record of texting or Messenger or WhatsApp every day for 3 years would likely be more than a thousand pages, I doubt they want to see all of it anyway.  Just send representative chats from the beginning (or whatever you have), maybe three days of chat records from every month of those three years, if it is about a page per day you send that would be around 100 pages.  You might also send your Facebook relationship printout with your spouse if you have it.  I also sent an email log showing emails sent and received between us since the beginning of our relationship with the I-130 petition.  You can also get apps for your phone that make it easy to send call logs of phone calls, video chat dates and times, etc.  Good luck!
