Sure thing. You can also skim through the timeline search (this is in the "enable advanced mode" on K-1 visa timelines, sorted descending by recent NOA2 dates) and look for recent entries that have RFE response dates entered.

Thank you, guess just have to be patient and wait. We submitted ours on 12/28/2020.

Probably depends on the documentation requested .I resubmitted my RFE on 12/9/20 and got NOA 2 on 12/16/20. Don't sweat it. I'm sure you will be approved.

If you dont mind me asking what kind of RFE you got and how did you resubmitted without original RFE letter from USCIS?

I got an RFE for having a short form birth certificate. I resubmitted with the long form birth certificate along with the original RFE

Hello filers. I've dropped down to an update every 2 weeks as it's slowed for march dramatically. But there's still progress. 167 more approvals. 78 fewer RFEs. just over 1200 petitions left unanswered. that's almost 75% of march accounted for.

(I think the previous check was done on Christmas Day, so I may not have been quite with it, hence a couple of big jumps where there shouldn't be. Put it down to user error)

Stay strong if you haven't heard yet - your time is coming.

(as always, please remove the picture from responses)

And old hand written is no longer giving so my fiancé wrote a cover letter explaining to the USCIS. I hope they will accept the document and approve us Ameen.

yesterday one case was approved after 39 day and one after 15 day from marcher 2020.

Aoa, All.

I need help, my fiancé applied for my K1 visa in Nov 2019 and it got approved from NVC in April and case moved to Islamabad embassy. No reply from them to this day. Each embassy has their own schedule as to when they will process K-1's. Have you checked your status on ceac.state.gov with your case number?  Refer to this PDF which will answer many of your questions and how to get information for each step in this process. NOA 2 First Page of new Month.pdf - Google Drive

First, please tell me is there anyone else who is facing the same issue as me. I have heard that embassies are working on K1 visas, some has got them. is it true or not? i am really worried. Anytime someone ask that question my answer is YES everything that you can think possible, someone else is experiencing the same or had experienced it.

Second, i received my case no. but no letter was sent to me or email. Letters are not sent unless the file has been sent to your embassy. Check ceac.state.gov with your case number and see what the status of your file is. Follow the directions in the PDF.

What should we do to expedite our case? Does anyone have any information when or if they are working please help? You can't expedite your case unless the embassy has your case and they are willing to expedite your case. They now have "ownership" of your file and they are the ones to commit to expediting your case. You will need to explain to them why you want your case to be expedited and "because I have waited so long" is not going to more your case to expedient status.

We have answered many of your questions in other threads. To expedite help to you, please post in one thread only. Now onto your many questions.

Thank you for your detailed answer. i apologize for posting in different threads as i was hoping to reach different people.

On the website you mentioned, an ID or password is required which as to my knowledge is sent to you via Email or letter. But i didn't receive any. The case no that was issued to my case was given to us when we called the embassy, nothing else was giving.

Its my first time and everything is so confusing and its also my first time here on this forum. I apologize if i have broken any rules. i am unaware.

Thank you for your detailed answer. i apologize for posting in different threads as i was hoping to reach different people. Pick the thread that you feel you would get the most response to and then start your subject and stay within the thread you started with any follow-up questions. This keeps the website and threads from getting messy.

On the website you mentioned, an ID or password is required which as to my knowledge is sent to you via Email or letter. But i didn't receive any. The case no that was issued to my case was given to us when we called the embassy, nothing else was giving. I revisited my reply to you but didn't see where I mentioned an ID or password. If you can explain further I'll attempt to help you further.

It's my first time and everything is so confusing and it's also my first time here on this forum. I apologize if i have broken any rules. i am unaware. NP. We'll help you along the way.

So, do you have your case number? It begins with three letters which is the signifier for your embassy. If you have that then you can begin to follow the steps in the PDF file and from your embassy's website.

Here are some other links that are important for you which will help explain and correct your confusion.
