Update time.

 

188 new approvals in the last week... and 36 fewer RFEs than last week (which is great). So it looks like the bulk of remaining cases are in the hands of filers for now... 

 

2381 - Total March Approvals

1602 - Awaiting Final Outcome (1019 of which are RFEs)

Look at unchecked numbers! Backwards movement for the whole first week of March. It is the same every week. Pathetic

If USCIS sends out an RFE and its returned from the petitioner and the IO has not revisited the cases to complete adjudication, then it shows as "unchecked".  They could have 11 come back from the petitioner, 15 touched and moved on and show 54 still unchecked. You don't see process, so you make a negative comment as though they are not working. They are human just like you and me. It doesn't mean they are not working or working backwards.  I am not looking for an argument. I have heard all the "sob" stories in my six years here. Take a break. Stop looking and when it shows up - be happy and move on within the process to your next steps.

Its just math . If the numbers don't decrease  over time, relatively nothing is being done.When nothing is getting done yes I will speak my mind.

Also, you don't know how quickly petitioners are responding to RFEs. RFE responses can take a while, and they may have only processed this week. There are so many Factors, it's not all on the USCIS. Also... that first week has 1 more unchecked than the previous week, given that Wednesday the 4th has one less and Friday the 6th has 2 less than the previous count. If you're upset by an increase of 1, then there's no helping you.

What is the time frame for them to make a decision after they received my rfe response? So far it’s been 15 days

They have up to 60 days to react. After 60 days, you can place an inquiry. Most are experiencing 30 or more. Some beyond 60.

Things are slowing now for March, but there is still progress as April makes faster and faster headway.

 

As you can see, RFEs are starting to decrease, and there were almost 80 March approvals this week. That's almost 2,500 K-1s approved, at NOA2, that were filed in March.

 

Good luck if you're still waiting. Chase the USCIS if you haven't heard, ask questions about your RFEs if you're unsure. Stay safe and keep positive.

They do not work on a first come first out basis. Your IO is working on files and will return to you once he/she fits you in. It's just a part of the process. You're not the only one who has experienced this. Please remember to have patience as that is the only thing that will get you through this. Your embassy is not processing visas at this time but by the time that you get your NOA2 and case number they will have started the processing of visas, we hope.
