Good day, Filers - Here is the latest update on March cases. Despite there being a holiday this week, we still saw 234 approvals.

There are 185 outstanding RFEs (which is 35 more than last week) and I'm not sure if it's a mistake in the data... but 2 new rejections. I'll check that again next week to be sure.

That's now a total of 1482 March approvals now, with 2475 applications still waiting for a final yes/no. It's getting close to 1,000 March approvals a month now, so we should see March come to a near close around February/March time.

(as always, please delete the photo from responses)

Have a great weekend. (and stay strong for those of us still waiting)

Thank you again!! The wait sucks but so nice to see it moving along nicely...

@LoveJonLovell used the uscis case trackers you can find in any app store and (with great effort) compiled this data into the spreadsheet that you see here on his own. He makes updates to his spreadsheet weekly, and it does take a good chunk of time, out of the kindness of his own heart.

Here are the links to the apps that you can use to track your case. BTW, the answer to your questions have been discussed in previous posts. You may want to go back a few pages to get caught up in the conversation. Doing so will reveal how the charts are produced and the time that @LoveJonLovell puts in to prepare this information for the group's consumption.

Note: the USCIS Case Tracker app lets you set a range of WAC# before and after yours to see the status of those cases. Very slick tool to ascertain where you are in the processing timeline of USCIS compared to others.

Hi everyone,

quick question. On the approval notice from USCIS, it lists two dates from the start of the approval data to the end date listed. Does that mean the approval notice is valid from the last date listed until it is sent to the NVC or the visa has to be issued by that last date shown in the approval notice. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks!

A fiancé visa must be issued within four months from the date of approval of the fiancé petition by USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services). If your appointment is later then the validity date, bring a signed and dated letter from your U.S. fiancé(e) stating that you both remain legally free to marry and that you intend to get married within 90 days of your arrival. E-mail or copies are acceptable.

9 FAM 41.81 N6.2 Validity of a K-1 Petition
(CT:VISA-2165; 08-21-2014)

An approved K-1 visa petition is valid for a period of four months from the date of USCIS action and may be revalidated by the consular officer any number of times for additional periods of four months from the date of revalidation, provided the officer concludes that the petitioner and the beneficiary remain legally free to marry and continue to intend to marry each other within 90 days after the beneficiary's admission into the United States.

@LoveJonLovell have you heard anything about your RFE

Not a thing... 30 days ago our status changed to 'Response To USCIS Request For Evidence Was Received'. It was only a tick box that was missed... So it's frustrating, but there's nothing more we can do. We tried getting the man with the gold involved, but to no avail. we've lowered our expectations dramatically, and yet there's still anxiety.

We know that our timeline is completely different to others, but it doesn't change the fact we're still down that there's no movement.

It is what it is.
