I'm late to this party. Just got our profile to update a little bit.

March 16th - Mailed out our completed I-129F application

March 20th - Confirmation picked up at Dallas, TX Lockbox

March 24th - Check cashed, Text confirmation of NOA1

I believe we recieved our hard copy NOA1 (I-797) in the mail about a week after the text (official date on NOA1 was  March 23rd) - Application will be processed at California Service Center

Now... waiting 😁 oh, so nervously.

We are in the same timeline. :) Good luck to all of us. :D

Hello everyone!
we filed our case on March 26,2020 and mailed to Dallas facility. We got the email acknowledgment of the receipt of the application by USCIS on April 7,2020, which I believe is NOA1 right ?
awaiting the NOA2 now which I think will take sometime between 5-7 months during a normal time and can’t predict anything during the pandemic situation.
keeping my fingers crossed for myself and all others on the same boat like me.
stay safe and well!

Welcome to the NOA1 thread. Glad you are here, and we all hope you have a fast and safe visa journey. Here are few things you may find helpful while you wait.

Also, we need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

It won't because there is no law or there isn't an executive order in place to affect you. Business as usual.

A fellow Grit City applicant! I would never have guessed I would bump into as many people in my area going through a similar scenario as I have since joining this site! Welcome to the thread! 😄

They just cashed my check. We sent in the application on March 19th. Waiting on the receipt notice text.

They actually cash the check electronically the same day they process the application, at least that's what they did in my case.

It's ONLY a tool ONLY an estimate used here on VJ, I would not take to much stock in it as it always goes up or down. Don't worry about it happens all the time.
