We got an email today on 15th Oct, its the notification regarding the case inquiry we did earlier on 1st Oct. It says "45 days" to receive notice of action. Any idea as to what it suggests, is only now a case officer assigned to our application !?Screenshot_20201015-182427.thumb.jpg.4612a9bdd2613896b9d18a5b6b54b412.jpg

I’m sorry but this is ridiculous even during Covid times.

My case is 211 days now, not sure if I should file an inquiry or just wait till end of the october. Any suggestion?

Filing it now won't hurt since it takes about 2 weeks for them to respond.

USCIS website says receipt date for a case inquiry today is March 19. If you're before that go ahead and file one. It can't hurt.

You follow what USCIS promulgates. If you are beyond the seven months, then you most certainty can submit an inquiry otherwise doing so without reaching seven months would be a waste or your time and USCIS time.

Go to https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ to determine your processing timeline according to where USCIS is currently adjudicating I-129f filings.

Interesting. We got an email back from a case inquiry from Oct 1. It says you should receive a notice of action "in due course" . .

So after 7 and a half months and case inquiry the answer is  it will come in due course.

When I spoke to a tier 2 she said that even though it's past 7 months it's still within range...😒

Update time, filers!

We must remember that this week was a holiday in the USA (indigenous peoples day/Columbus Day), so we're down a full day!

That being said, March has had roughly 10% of cases approved now.

There were 56 extra RFEs added in the last 4 days. This week also saw 86 New approvals, bringing the total for March to 413.
