It also went to the Texas Service Center rather than California.

I consider that user error in filling out their timeline. So many people confuse mailing to Dallas lockbox as “Texas service center”.

The interview date is so uncertain at this point, the one thing I'm looking forward to is NO2, just to have peace of mind, knowing there are no problems and it's onto the next step, Which I anticipate to be another long and dreadful wait until US Embassies catch up on their backlog. :(

Yeah, if we're lucky enough and we get our NOA2s in August then wait for 2-4 weeks to get to the NVC (hopefully our Embassy is open by that time). I just hope everything is back to normal soon. We're planning to have our interview on Late November or early December.

My Fiance tells me the US Embassy is open now, but only to emergency applicants, As for resuming all interviews, that could very well happen in August... Crossing my fingers.

I just visited the US Embassy USEM website and I couldn't find any CURRENT information. All US Embassies have been in this condition and that they would be processing only emergency visa interviews or helping those US citizens who wanted to return to the US. There is no fire here where you see smoke. I'm just keeping it real as not to get people to raise their level of hope when there in fact is nothing new to report.

Go directly to your embassy's webpage to keep checking for information regarding operating status and any further updates. When new appointment dates are available for booking, they will display through your appointment calendar within your Visa Appointment Service account at https://www.ustraveldocs.com. Please ensure that you monitor the email address that you used to register with the Visa Appointment Service, including the junk or spam folder, as that is how you will be contacted if it is necessary for your future appointment to be postponed.

I don't believe in getting anyone's hopes up high either, only to be let down.. It was a Facebook post, which also stated the US Embassy is currently accepting interview appointments for the month of August, but they would limit the number of interviews per day. I'll ask her for the link and post it.

I don't put a lot of faith in FB postings. They seem to be filled with unintentional information that is unusable or not reflect real-world experiences. Anyways, I would like to see the link to the "official" information that you have propagated. Much appreciated. Thanks.

When it comes to things like this, I am a doubting "Thomas".  This may have happened, but I think there is more behind this story. . This is not the norm and I highly suspect others are getting visas from the PI unless under unusual circumstances. Just my opinion Thanks for sharing.

Have any March people received their NOA2 yet? Looks like it’s still stuck in February. I’ve been checking the timeline updates everyday and it seems like approvals have slowed down.

I guess the only thing to do is be patient!

No, none that I can see. Even the documented February timelines seem very scattered as far as approvals go, which just backs up Greenbaum's saying of "Your mileage will vary". Doing a little digging on one of the tracking apps I can see a few scattered RFE's for some March filers, but no approvals. Tracking in the app, it seems like there a lot going on around mid-February, either RFE's or approvals... but when you get to the last week a February, not a lot. Each couple's journey is definitely going to be unique, length of journey included. So, for the time being, waiting patiently is the only thing we can do. 🙂
