I understand that you would like to have an approval now, but the reality of this situation is that USICS never promised you a date that your case would finish adjudication. There are many reasons yours his taking this amount of time and may take longer. No two cases are the same so if you see others being approved and you are not, that's the reason. I have been here answering questions and giving guidance for over six years and I have seen approval timelines as early as three months and some beyond a year. My recommendation is to lower your expectations and you will get through this.

I know of three cases, one was a year @Sarge2155, another is running over a year @Dale. and another four hundred days. Just saying. Your still within "advertised" USCIS timeline of seven months. After seven months you can submit a "case out of normal processing time" with USCIS. Use this tool to search your timeline.

166 days still waiting for Noa2..... march approvals are taking forever 🙁

Yeah I share your pain. It looks like processing has slowed down, plus with the USCIS furlough happening on August 30th it will get even slower. Nothing we can do but wait. If you think about it though, since Consulates are still not processing K-1 visas’s- all we are doing is waiting for approval to just wait in another line. We will get there eventually.

Noticed a March 10 noa2 this morning. Granted only 3 recorded march approvals in these VJ timelines which is sad given were practically in Sept.

USCIS Furlough canceled USCIS Averts Furlough of Nearly 70% of Workforce U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services today announced that the agency will avert an administrative furlough of more than 13,000 employees, scheduled to begin Aug. 30 as a result of unprecedented spending cuts and a steady increase in daily incoming revenue and receipts.

USCIS expects to be able to maintain operations through the end of fiscal year 2020. Aggressive spending reduction measures will impact all agency operations, including naturalizations, and will drastically impact agency contracts.

Agree, the needle hasn't moved much, which is reflective of the approval estimates that have gone from late June to July to August and now to early September,  that's almost a 3 month extension of where cases were at one point.. And were all prohibited from traveling to see our Fiance's, which makes this experience even worse... I feel your frustration.

On another note, it's nice to see someone from SG Utah, that's where i plan to move in 2 years, a quiet and beautiful southwestern town with great people and great weather,  been there many times on my way to Lake Powell :)

Lake Powell might not be there in 2 years. https://tucson.com/news/local/lake-powell-could-dry-up-in-as-little-as-six-years-study-says/article_0e0b61d1-10d7-51aa-a29a-bcb1d9d6eb0f.html

Green propaganda.. "Might", "May" "Can" and "Could", common keywords that scaremongering environmentalists use to sell the public on one of their environmental LIES.. Weather changes, one year a drought, the next year record snowfall, Lake Powell isn't going anywhere.

Now this is just wishful thinking, but I'm hoping since the furlough got cancelled the petition responses will pick up. If these people know they are keeping their jobs, they'll be more motivated. I know that if I knew I was going to be losing my jobs, I wouldn't be working as efficiently.

Or I could be totally wrong. But I'm hoping I'm not.

Based on the news release, things will slow down:(( They "saved" their employees by means of  "descoping of federal contracts that assist USCIS adjudicators in processing and preparing case files as well as a myriad of other support activities. Anticipated operational impacts include increased wait times for pending case inquiries with the USCIS Contact Center, longer case processing times, and increased adjudication time for aliens adjusting status or naturalizing". And nobody knows how it will impact I-129F cases in particular🤷‍♀️

That's  a logical assumption!

I truly understand how you all feel, I've felt the same way during my visa journey. We have little control over this process, so you are correct all we can do is wait!
