Can someone help me with my tax question pls?

Hi guys! (Reposting coz i have no clear answer until now)
Quick background: 2015 I had no job so i didnt file tax return. 

I need help with this question:

“Have you EVER not filed state, federal tax?”

Yes or No?

What is the correct choice? I was never really required to file 2015 coz i had no job but that technically still means not filing right?  Really confused

I would answer "No" since you have filed every year you were required to file........otherwise EVERYONE would have to answer "Yes"....since no one has filed every year since they were born.

Go with the part “EVER” not with just one year. If you have never filed, say “Yes”. If you have filed the return even for just one year, say “NO”.

You may also provide evidence to support your answers. If you answer “No” to any question in Item Numbers 45. - 50., include a typed or printed explanation on a separate sheet of paper. Your answers, whether “Yes” or “No,” will not automatically cause your application to be denied.

 

Were you married in 2015? How did your spouse file?  If it was a joint return, you filed.

hi! i wasnt married. i still am not married. i was living with my dad with no job/income

They ask about the time you became a LPR so if in  2015 you were a legal permanent resident , even without an income you should answer yes , and explain why .
