I recently had my passport stolen. I reported it and got a replacement passport. 

 

I uploaded the new passport copy in the CEAC site.

Is there anything else I need to do to ensure my paper work for my husband's application is not affected by this?

Keep a copy of the lost passport report and ensure your husband has a copy of it with his paperwork .. just shows validation of your need to replace the passport
