Hi. First time posting here. I have gotten call for interview for AoS via marriage to USC. In my application packet, I did not provide any pictures, joint bank statements, lease etc. I just submitted a marriage certificate. I have all of these ready to take to interview. My question is am I going to get a lot of questioning because I did not submit them at the time? Is it mandatory to submit them with application packet because I was only married 3 months at the time.

What do you expect? Most definitely! A marriage certificate alone is not evidence of bona fides.

No

Just another random guy from the internet with an opinion, although usually backed by data!

It's fine. We didn't submit any pictures (beyond the required 2x2 passport-style photos) with our AOS package either.

We just brought them to the interview.

USCIS is well aware that if you marry and file AOS within 90 days, you're not going to have a lot of evidence of living together as a married couple by then.

Hi I can see you’re NYC too. We had ours on Wednesday and just submitted what was asked for inc the marriage certificate. We were asked a lot of questions but I think we had a newer officer. We took all of our evidence with us which was fine

You should be fine! I didn’t supply any additional supporting documents with the initial AOS package just the minimum that was required such as the marriage certificate. I just had my interview a few days ago and didn’t get to show anything from the mini mountain of the evidence I had brought with me apart from proof of health insurance which the interviewing officer requested to see. Questioning was thorough but not at all intimidating or difficult. It was more like a conversational recap of our journey up to this point. At the end I was informed I was approved pending a background check and was actually approved 2 days later!

Just make sure to refer to the checklist provided in your notice and gather what little supporting evidence you have available for the interview just in case. Good luck!
