Waiting on NOA2 - Being proactive - Questions

My fiance and I are currently awaiting NOA2. She resides in Northern Mindinao and has two small children, ages 4 and 6.

I am trying to be as proactive and have her collect necessary documentation we will need in the future for Medical, CFO and Embassy Interview.

I have several questions as I am trying to clear up some confusions about the process from here on out.

Can the same documents that are collected for one part of the process, Medical, for example be used for CFO and Embassy, or will I need to collect individual documents for each?

Since her children are not yet 12 yrs of age, they will only need to register for CFO as opposed to attending. Does my fiance need to bring documents, e.g. birth certificates, photos, for her children when she attends CFO? Or only for herself? What about the fees? Are fees needed for three people or just my fiance?

As a US citizen, how can I provide a statement of singleness? Someone mentioned something about Tax Returns, but I am unsure what I need to provide.

What is the likelyhood of being able to schedule Medical, Embassy Interview and CFO all in the same week in Manila? It would be good for my fiance to get CFO taken care of as soon as possible by traveling to Cebu. But not sure if this is going to be possible as she would have to find someone to watch her children while away.

I will definitely be going with her to Manila when she/kids have medical and interviews. Maybe we can squeeze in CFO, but not sure if its possible.

What is needed?   Here is a guide, there is info on the visa application process, medical and CFO :  https://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/us-embassy-usem.html

There is a link in the guide to the 5 STEPS page from the embassy, the 5th step is the documents requirements.  Do complete all 5 steps.

Of course everything is X 3 as you will need 3 of everything.   Except age related documents.

When scheduling the interviews online, after scheduling your fiancee it will ask if you want to schedule another, this is when you will schedule each child.

It is possible to "use" the original CENOMAR and birth certificate for CFO-GCP  as they will be good with seeing the originals and keeping copies, as long as you complete CFO-GCP before the interview.   Embassy wants originals of all PSA documents and NBI.

As for you proving singleness, have you ever been married before?  If yes a copy of the divorce decree will be adequate to prove singless.  If never married then a copy of your tax return with vital info blacked out (SSN) will get the job done.   CFO asks for some really dumb stuff sometimes.

You can easily complete the medical and the interview in the same week, I do suggest to allow 24 hrs between day 2 of the medical and the interview.

With CFO your fiancee will attend the GCP seminar, this can be completed before or after the interview (most complete it early).  The children only need to register(PDOS), which can't be completed until after they have their visas.

Also, as my finance is currently 24 and will be turning 25 in April, I assume she will need parental advice? Is this step really necessary and required by CFO?  Is it as simple as going to a local courthouse in PHL and having them sign a document that has been notarized?

How long does this registration process take? We will probably do CFO prior to receiving the visa and then pick up the stickers at NAIA prior to departure. Are the fees for the children paid at the registration period or when my fiance goes to CFO?

Registration is 30-60 minutes ... Philippine time.  ;)    Silly to get the sticker at NAIA ... you are already at the CFO office and they will all have their passport WITH visas

CFO is like everything else, each person is separate.  I think the fee is something like P400  it is noted on the CFO website

Finance is in Northern Mindinao and will do the CFO hopefully same week as Medical and Interview.  Why would we need to go back to CFO? If you can pick up sticker at NAIA?

Because you CAN NOT register the children until they have their passport W/visas  ... so your fiance will be at CFO and everyone will have their passports w/visas  ... get the sticker.

Besides when you register the children CFO will be applying their stickers to the passport.

I guess I do not understand the process.

Fiance goes to CFO same week as medical and interview.

Then wait for visas for all three.  Once they arrive, register two minors with PDOS online.   Pick up stickers at NAIA prior to departure.  You telling me we gotta make an extra trip to Manila CFO just to get a dang sticker?  We don't wanna be hauling luggage all over the place. Rather fly from Mindinao to Manila and then out of the country.

Registering the children is done in person.  Slow down and read the CFO website regarding registering children 12 and under.

You can register the children at any CFO office, don't have to do it in Manila .. but if you are flying out of NAIA then CFO Manila would be the easiest.

I guess you are right.  Very complicated process for sure for people who aren't in the Manila area. Do you have to make an appointment to pick up the stickers?

No appt needed to register or get the sticker.

Yes for the most part CFO is nothing more than a NANNY government controlling everyone.

Unless you have been married before or are a prior Philippine citizen then you do not need a CENOMAR.

Never been married. So I don't need tax transcripts?

Yes, tax transcripts are good

Guess I am confused. Do I need to provide my fiance anything that says I'm single for CFO? I've never been married and am US citizen.
