I received Packet 4 today, wow this was fast. On the forms I wrote that I plan to fly on 18 August 2007, but on my letter that I faxed them together with the checklist I asked them to schedule it before or on 19 July 2007, if possible. They respected my wish and scheduled my interview for 19 July 2007 :)

Thanks to everyone here, this is a great community and it's very helpful to understand the process and to learn about what to do! VJ is great!

I can't wait to see my fiancee again!!!

03/29/2007 Got letter from USCIS to provide evidence that our marriage is bona fide

04/02/2007 Sent to USCIS lots of evidence

05/03/2007 I have an unofficial "PETITION APPROVED" ...waiting for confirmation from Consulate

05/07/2007 Received email from USCIS ROME confirming that our petition was approved (why Rome? because we complained to the District Office Rome about the Sub-Office Frankfurt..it took too long for our petition to be approved)...now waiting for the interview letter from the Consulate

05/18/2007 E-mail from IV Frankfurt, our interview was scheduled for May 29th

05/19/2007 Packet 4 in the mail: ja ja ja interview letter

05/29/2007 Interview at 7.30 a.m. APPROVED Thank you, God!

06/01/2007 Visa arrived !

06/03/2007 Mayday on the plane POE Cincinnati

Living in Maryland

06/21/2007 Welcome Notice from USCIS

06/29/2007 Applied for SSN at the local Office

07/07/2007 Green Card arrived

07/09/2007 Another 2 Welcome Letters from USCIS...God, they really love me! :D

07/20/2007 Social Security Card arrived

01/18/2009 PCS-ing to Stuttgart Germany

Feb 2009 Received letter from VSC to start removing conditions.

2007-02-15 -- NOA1 for I130 from California Service Center.

2007-02-22 -- I129F filed with Chicago USCIS office.

2007-03-02 -- NOA1 for 129F from MSC.

2007-03-27 -- Touched -- I129F transfered to CSC.

2007-03-28 -- I129F Touched !!

2007-05-17 -- I 130 and I 129F touched!!!! God please get me a approval without a RFE. You can do it please!!!

2007-05-18 -- I-130 and I-129F approved!!!! Dear God, thank you very much. You are the greatest!!

2007-05-22 -- I-130 and I-129F approval notice recieved in mail

2007-05-29 -- Case received at NVC and case number assigned.

Frankfurt definitely is one of the best embassies out there. Everyone is friendly and helpful and the interview is usually very nice as well.

Yes, Frankfurt was fast for us too. Infact our interview is coming up soon now.

I'm flying to Hamburg on Thursday and the following Friday we've got our interview in Frankfurt.

Will report back about it afterward.

Northern Bavaria. It's going to be a 3 to 4 hours drive depending on the traffic. But at least my interview is scheduled for 10 am, so that's not too early :)
