NVC Expedite Request

question.....

I paid my NVC fees, submitted my documents and DS-260 on 2/26/2020...…….

I also requested my application to be expedited via email today 2/27/2020

Does anyone have a idea of how long it will take to hear back from NVC?

NVC will forward your request to the embassy, and then inform you on whether or not the embassy has agreed to expedite your case

Hi. Do you know how long that can take? I sent my email on Wednesday Feb 26th.

I’m not sure I sent my expedite on the 27th of feb also

Mexico can take a few weeks to get an approval.  You would be surprised how many reasons people submit since Mexico is taking over a year to set interviews for a CR1/IR1.

On 3/9/2020 7 business after submitting my request I received a email stating

"We are reviewing your request for expedited processing of this immigrant visa petition. We will notify you with the results when the review is complete."

2/27/2020 submitted for expedite 

3/09/2020 received email stating case was being reviewed 

3/17/2020 received email stating case was approved and Mexican consult will contact me to schedule interview 😃

Hello, Just want to update you guys and share my experience: 

2/27/2020: Request expedite.

3/11/2020: Received letter of case viewing review.

3/17/2020: They approved my request to expedite.

Reason to expedite: My mom the petioles will have a surgery on April 10th.

Embassy: Bogota, Colombia.
