Is this status normal for K1? I thought for K1 all required documents is brought to the interview instead of sending it to the NVC

The status that you are showing "At NVC" is a normal status. The verbiage within the notice is for immigrant visa's and you are processing as an immigrant till your visa is issued then you become a non-immigrant with immigration intent because of the marriage after arriving in the States. It's kind of confusing but this is how they have set up the path for K-1's to the issuance of their visa. So just ignore everything in that notice as this is normal but does not pertain to K-1's.
