SUPER STRESSED, PLEASE HELP : Interview over, but oath ceremony rescheduled.

I had my N 400 interview at the Newark field office today. The interview itself went fairly well and I was told I was approved. However, they had 'computer' issues and could not print the naturalization certificate, so some of us were told that our oath ceremony had to be rescheduled. They said we would receive the oath letter by mail in a few weeks. What stresses me out is that others who had been interviewed at around the same time were called for an oath ceremony the same day. The officer told us there was an issue with printing only some certificates. He also told me there was no issue with the interview itself and I wouldn't have to redo. Is this normal? How is it that some people who interviewed around the same time can have the oath ceremony the same day while there is a system issue only for a few? I am mildly freaking out, please help. Also, my online status is still at the 'Interview Scheduled' stage. How long before that changes?

Newark does same day oath so if there was an issue printing some certificates then their only option was to delay the oath ceremony for those folks.

Did you get the N652 which lists the outcome of your interview?

At some point the IO will update your profile with “attended interview” and “application approved.” Then you will be in line for an oath ceremony.

If nothing changes in the next couple of days, call the contact center and asked to speak with a level 2 officer.

My N 652 says my application has been recommended for approval. I am just wondering how long it will take for the online status to change, just so I can stop freaking out. It is still in the 'Scheduled for Interview' phase.

It won’t change until the IO enters the outcome of the interview in the system.

The online status changed today to 'We have approved your case.' Other than that, still waiting for word on the oath ceremony.

That’s progress.

Next will be “in line for oath” and “oath ceremony scheduled.”
