Interview requirement when already interviewed previously at US embassy

Hi everyone! :)

 

I'm currently in the US as a conditional permanent resident. I know that a new requirement for every applicant for I-751's to be interviewed was released by USCIS in December 2018, whereas before interviews were only required when additional evidence was needed. As we both previously attended an interview at the US embassy in London (but have not attended an interview with USCIS in the US), will I still be required to do an interview for the i-751?! I am seeing conflicting information online, with some people saying that they aren't requesting interviews from everyone anymore.
