I received the notice from NVS that they have sent over the approval letter for the interview to the

Kiev consulate.

When do I get the request for the I-134?

IM leaving USA to go and see my fiance soon and I don't want to miss the notice.

IS there anyway to monitor case status on the NVS website?

thank you

Correction NVC National Visa Center ...NOT NVS

Yes, there is a way to monitor the progress, you have to sign up with your case # on their website. Also, if you are going there, why not just get all your stuff ready that the I-134 asks for, fill out the forms, get the evidence ready, and then bring it with you when you go over there.

I don't see anyway to register on http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/ty...types_1309.html.

Please show where to register.

So I take the I-134 to Kiev Consulate?

They check my finances abroad?

I am sorry, after you have been approved there is no way to monitor your case, the most you can do is email or call the NVC to see where it is. That contact information should be on the website or in the NOA2 that you recieved.

You will want to take the I-134 and the other evidence they ask for to your fiance for the interview. Yes she will eventually take that the the Kiev Consulate to present at her interview. But that is what you need it for. For the interview

Thanks for the reply and sorry for my ignorance.

It makes no sense to me to take detailed financial info. to the US GOVT office (the consulate)

in a foreign country, when it should stay in USA.

Do they then ship all my I-134 stuff and her documents back to the states?

Is the final decision made by bureaucrats in the states ?
