Congratulations 🥰

What does it mean when the receipt number started with IOE ?

IOE means the petition is being processed electronically ( Usually means things happen faster, it is a good thing) When I renewed my wifes EAD/AP card I got a IOE case number, and it you look it up that means it will be processed electronically, and it was a lot faster as she had her new card in less than a month.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!

Actually thinking of filing a K-3, but skeptical if it's gonna make any difference

I did file a K-3 and it had an NOA-1 date of Jan. 9th. I figured it couldn't hurt. That case hasn't been dispositioned since the I-130 approvals.

I think what's interesting (but also difficult) about these IOE cases is that all of the published timelines are focused by center and there doesn't appear to be any published information on IOE cases. My NOA-2 was much faster than expected.

Wowww congratulations. My PD is oct 1st. Fingers crossed. Hopefully Nebraska will continue approving with this speed.

I noticed that Nebraska was speeding up a few months ago when my estimate on VJ kept dropping, from Sept 25, to August 25, to August 10th and now its giving me an estimate between July 30th - August 11th.

I don't know if it is like it is in the UK but one of my co-workers used to work at one of these visa processing centres and they tell me electronically, its just pressing left and right a few times then pressing a green button. Would make sense that its faster

This morning I got a text that our I-130 cases were approved. Our receipt date was August 8th. We had receipt numbers that started with IOE, but the receipt notices came from Nebraska - so I had assumed it was subject to the long wait time. But surprise! The cases were suddenly approved this morning.

I *just* got back from visiting them in Philippines 1.5 weeks ago... now I'll be going back to get them soon :)

Can you keep us posting on the NVC and how long it takes to get the case number please

Congratulations 🎉🎈 one step closer

Wonder if it’s still taking 6-7 months for the IOE Nber

Congrats! such a good speed especially from Nebraska centre.

I think someone should monitor or analyze IOE applicants timelines separately or just add an other column . They might have diffrent processing times compare to non-ioe applicants.

Did your dates get changed before you got approval?

I have been seeing a lot of posts on VJ and Facebook groups where the date changed to 23/24 Feb a few days back and some people are linking it to the fact that only those are getting approvals for whom this date changed. So, its kind of freaking me out because mine didn't change and is showing 26th December, 2019.

Is there a way to filter the ioe cases with the existing filters on VJ?

Because it should be a different option if all the ioe cases are not related to the centers that we already know.

I got notifications from potomac tho, so I don't know how the ioe cases work.

I agree. I think USCIS should be doing that too. IOE appears to be operating very independently of centers.

Actually, now that you showed that screenshot... yes, the dates changed on January 8th. I thought it was because I changed my password on my.uscis.gov that day, so I didn't think anything of it.

My notifications came from Nebraska, which was wearing on my soul deeply.

Okay that’s very good to know that it didn’t have that 23/24 feb change and just on Jan 6, mine also changed around the same time on December 26. I thought only those people are getting approvals for whom the date changed on 23/24 feb

OK, I got the approval notifications in the mail.

The approval notices came from Texas Service Center. This proves to me that cases with IOE* are not tied to a particular center's timeline. When we received our first NOA-1 last year, it was sent from Nebraska. The approvals appear to have come from Texas. I did not receive any transfer notices of any kind.

That’s right. I saw this on FB as well for someone else. I guess it’s all one pool and not office specific anymore. Exciting for us people who originally got Nebraska.
