Filed K3 (I-129F ) Vermont after I130 assigned in Nebraska

Hi All,

Please Help!

 

So after submitting I-130 on Feb 11th 2020 with IOE*** number and Nebraska service center I submitted I-129F after 10 days. I recieved EAC*** i.e Vermont  service center for my K3 application. I read most people saying usually you get the same service center for both I130 and I129F(k3). I have 2 questions 

1) why mine got two differnt service centers?

2) I don't see any processing timelines or any info for Vermont proccessing K3 Visa. Please help if you have any info on this.

Your I-129f will be likely closed administratively anyway.  That "trick" hasn't worked for months, as far as I know.

So they will just clost it with no reason? I meant are we getting notifications why? Or they just dont touch it at all?

They will close it because K-3 visas are almost non-existent.  Only 5 were issued last year world-wide.  The I-130 will very likely proceed as an IR-1/CR-1 case.  Did you file the I-129f in hope of a K-3....or did you file it in hope of having the I-130 approved faster for a CR-1?

For the hope of having I-130 to get approved. But K3 got approved by any chance sooner than I130 I am ok with that. The question I have if by any chance they picked I129F for review what are they going to do it? Just deny it for having 2 forms?

I'm sure they will be able to see that there is an I-130 in the system....I suspect they will then just close the I-129f..........Let us know whn you get more notifications from USCIS....🙂

Will definitely do. The weirdest part is Vermont dont have processing timeline for K3 on USCIS website. Either they just started taking new once or it's just a storage lol.

The other possibility is that K-3s are statistically insignificant.  The number of approvals have been steadily declining for a few years.....only 5 last year....could be none this year....good luck.

While it's USCIS policy to adjudicate the two forms together, the policy change of all I-130s to have an IOE number is also new.

my 130 case is in VSC It's processing time is almost 5 times the TSC. What should I do? Why my case went to VSC? I got my NOA-1 from TSC.
