It didnt. Just 2 cases reported and their are more cases reported in USA than this.

OP, if you were really that concerned about the virus, you'd be safer in Pakistan than in the US.

Considering the US  may have just had the first COVID-19 case today from someone who didn’t travel to Asia or was with someone affected- it wouldn’t make sense... “please expedite my case because COVID-19 is in my country...and the US”.. see..the US isn’t immune to the virus.

As you can see the claim for expediting a case because of the fear of the coronavirus can be argued against. An immigration officer can say that there are over 50 confirmed cases of the virus in the US and we are warned that there are more coming, while in Pakistan there is only 1 or 2 cases. At this rate, a person has a higher chance of getting it in the US than Pakistan.

 

To be honest, your case will probably be approved and your visa issued before things get really bad in Pakistan. You have a higher chance of suffering from impatience than a virus.

I requested an expedite before the travel ban due to COVID-19 and it was denied. My beneficiary is currently in China. 

The reasons for requesting an expedite are limited to :

 

• Severe financial loss to a company or person, provided that the need for urgent action is not the result of the petitioner’s or applicant’s failure to:
  1. File the benefit request or the expedite request in a reasonable time frame, or
  2. Respond to any requests for additional evidence in a reasonably timely manner;
• Urgent humanitarian reasons;
• Compelling U.S. government interests (such as urgent cases for the Department of Defense or DHS, or other public safety or national security interests); or
• Clear USCIS error.
