On the USCIS website, the instuctions say to type all information on the 1-864 in capital letters. On the sample form on VJ, the information given is not in caps. Do you need to type in the information on the 1-864 in all capital letters?

Follow the instructions on the form..... it it says all CAPS then thats what you should do.... but to be honest I dont think you would be denied for not using caps....

Good Luck

Kez

I used all caps.

Thank you. I did all caps per intrustions.

I have another question. I completed the form but would like to save it on my computer. Every time I try to save it, the forms is not complete with my information. How can I save it to my computer with all the information there?

You have to have the full edition of adobe ( the one you buy) before you can do that. If you have only the free version of Adobe reader that you download on the internet its not gonna happen. You can fill it up and print it, but not save it.

What I did is printing blank copies and fill em up by hand, and when all the information was completed then I transcribed it with my computer and printed it immediately.

I managed to save my completed forms (they can't be edited once they're saved, though, so you have to fill them out completely before saving, or end up having to start all over again!) - this probably won't be much help of you, but in the unlikely event that you have a Mac, you can open (and fill in) PDF forms using Preview instead of Adobe Acrobat (Preview is some Mac PDF-reading software, it tends to open all PDFs using Preview as default anyway...)... and whatever Adobe feature it is that won't let you save completed forms obviously doesn't work in Preview, because I've never had any trouble saving any of them! Handy, 'cos we don't have a printer, so I filled them all out, saved them, and emailed them to my husband to print at work.

Yeah, I know that probably doesn't help you much (I know most people don't use Macs), but anyone out there with a Mac, or with access to one... fill out your forms in Preview, then you can save them! :)
