So my fiancée and I are at the stage where the beneficiary has to gather all the required documents to schedule and attend the interview.  I, the US petitioner, must submit the 134 affidavit of support and supporting documents. according to the 797, approval notice, our petition expires 28 March 2020 and we are looking at maybe mid March for the interview.  My question is,  I file taxes tomorrow And I’m afraid it will not reflect on the tax transcripts (from what I understand I must show proof of last years).  Will this be an issue? If so,  is there a way around it to still show proof of 2019?

note: IRS website states processing times could take 2-4 weeks to reflect on transcripts.  I have to consider delivery Times of required documents to the beneficiary.  I’m afraid it will not make it there on time due to all the processing delivery times.  I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced this Issue. I could request 2018 tax transcripts but i don’t believe it will have the current tax returns.

No need to send it by mail to your beneficiary. Scanned file is accepted. Don't waste your time and money

Because 2019 taxes are not due yet, they probably won't expect you to have the transcript for that year. Do include 2018, though. To prove your income for 2019, pay stubs, a letter from your employer, bank statements showing direct deposits will all show your income. You can print out a copy of your return and include it with the other evidence. It's also possible for the transcript to be available sooner than you think. I was surprised to find that mine was ready about ten days after I filed.

Awesome info!  I appreciate the fast reply! Do I submit originals or can I submit copies?  I only ask because for reason the embassy states to submit original documents.

I don't know if what they require, with respect to originals or copies, is embassy specific so you need to find out what your embassy wants. I think probably, for the interview, they will instruct you to take along an original and a copy of each document. This way, they can see the original and keep the copy, if they need to. Again, follow the directions for your embassy. You can get better information if you will look up your embassy on this website. You'll find relevant information there.
