She has a fleece on?

It was 48F yesterday morning at 7am according to that chyron. A fleece is appropriate imo in that weather. By the time Al left for LAX at 11:30 it was about 60F.

Right now the news is all the Kobe Bryant memorial.

I heard about this yesterday and I couldn't help but think about you

LOL! I haven't really noticed too much here until last Friday morning, when I was up and out much earlier than usual for an 8am hair appointment. I decided to go for a walk and get a coffee at 7:15 before the appointment, and I was just strolling around the Promenade. It was literally me, several guys walking to work and about 25 homeless people. I had never seen that many in one place at one time -- they were all just hanging out on benches. Most of them were just minding their own business and not begging or anything; several were reading books. There was one woman, who may or may not have been homeless, wandering around, trying to start trouble with the others, accusing them of disrespecting her in some way. "STOP DISRESPECTING ME!" she kept yelling. I was like: I thought there was a Starbucks around here that's open???? I couldn't find anything that was open, which was really frustrating because this woman seemed nuts, homeless or not. Found the Starbucks eventually (it was one block away whoops) and by 8am, the people had somewhat dispersed. By 9:30am when my appointment was over, it was tourists and office workers. So weird.

48F?  Forget the fleece.  That's winter parka and long underwear weather.

I think she was, but you never know. She was pretty well-groomed. I also recall that there was this guy who used to walk around in West Hollywood dressed like Jesus and who LOOKED like Hollywood depictions of Jesus (you know what I mean), who never spoke at all, very weird. He was not homeless, just very weird. This is a super strange place so I never take things for granted. I'd give this lady an 85% chance of being homeless.

:P back at you.

I was folding his socks at the moment of impact and helping him pack. Nothing nearly so exciting as driving off the side of a parking garage. But I have this entire week on my own without him -- I could always rent a car and give it a try.

The majority of "homeless" where I live are actually panhandlers living in nice homes.  But when one can take $150-200 a day from suckers, why work?

The majority of homeless in California are drug addicts with half a brain left due to over use of said drugs
