Military Expedite Help Needed

Good afternoon,

So I'm trying to get my fiancé visa expedited but I was wondering if anyone has an example letter. I'm not due to deploy but I was wondering if anyone had a example letter that I could use. I ask because my chain of command would like to help me get my fiancé here faster. They are asking me for an example and they will put in on a letter head and sign off on it. I know there are other letters we can use just besides deployment letters. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

You can't ask for an expedite just because you want your fiancee to get here faster.  If that worked, we would all have done it.

 

There are actual criteria for an expedite.  If you are not deploying, how do you qualify for one?

On what grounds do you plan to request the expedite?  The letter would be based around the rationale for expediting.

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

The content of the letter will be related to the basis of the application.

I don't see how your retiring and relocating to the US would be justification to expedite......

Honestly, it sounds like you are just looking for any excuse to shorten your separation time.....I see no hardship in your case........but I am not the one making the decision.  Good luck on your retirement.  I can attest that there is life after the military....and it is great!!
