Relax my wife is simple person and she’s not old enough to get to know all immigration stuff she was born here and she was given medicare so she doesn’t care about such stuff all she cares about are s

Did you read my response? We filed in September 2019, they asked us about health insurance at our interview last week. My wife has had insurance through my employer once we got married.

You can't get Medicare so that's off the table. To have that would be a good thing but it's not absolutely needed. If you have other evidence of a bona fide marriage that's good enough.

Wonder if it is actually Medicaid? Is she over 65 or long term ill?

If your wife has Medicare, you cannot use it. You need to sign up to the exchange or buy privately.

What does the exchange mean ?

So the only way she could get Medicare is being long term ill.

Yeah I'm confused... no doubt this is Medicaid and Molina is the managed health care company that provides. Hard to even know what state this is... Cali maybe I assume.

Yeah, well unfortunately she signed on as your sponsor, so she needs to be involved in this.

 

When you say "medicare" do you mean medicaid?  Because Medicare is for persons age 65 and up.

Like others have advised you, you will need to research the options to purchase one.  Start by looking at healthcare.gov.

However, for your own future financial safety in the event you do get sick, you should.  healthcare.gov

For anybody filing or AOS on or after the 24th (not the OP's case), having health insurance is asked and is a heavily weighted negative factor if you do not have it or show plans to have it soon (presumably they would ask again at the interview). All I can say is we had our interview last week and they asked if my wife has insurance, we provided proof. Not sure if it’s required, but they are asking. We obviously filed before the 24th. So who knows
