I believe after paying fees and submitting all documents to NVC it can take 3-4 months to receive confirmation that you submitted all your correct documents and 1-2 months after that your interview will be scheduled. The whole process starting from the date you submitted the petition can take 1yr to 1yr and 6 months (if everything is submitted in a timely manner). Please keep me updated I am currently in the same processes as you

Not correct.. NVC takes around 2 months to review documents right now. After that, it depends on the backlog of the embassy/consulate. The consulate in Mexico takes 10-12 months for an interview right now. OP may not want to believe that (despite even another member from Mexico earlier stating the same thing) but I guess they will just have to see for themself when the time comes.

Yes I received an email saying all the payments and forms were sent and approved and they would be reaching back to me with an interview date, to not quit my job or make any life changing decisions etc.

My wife and I have been waiting since July 31, 2019 since the National Visa Center completed all paperwork. They advised we are waiting until an interview from Ciudad Juárez. I estimate from July 31, 2019 if it is 10 to 12 Months. We should get an update between May 31, 2020 to July 31, 2020.  I have called the National Visa Center two times and both times they advised we are pending an Interview Date to be scheduled. They explained they have a large backlog of applications. I summarize this is due to the migrants from Central American which is a total of 60,000 is causing a backlog for the consulate to handle.
