How does one show ability to have insurance after 30 days. My income is high enough and my insurance is from my job, 100% sure I can add anyone.

Do I need letter from insurance saying I have an ability to add anyone.

@geowrian

Letter from HR (or the insurer) showing a spouse can be added, benefits plan documentation, etc. Main things are to show that she can be added to your employer-sponsored plan, with a premium of $x. Other details like deductible and such can be included, but IMHO probably aren't that relevant here.

How about relative? I can't add my siblings to my health plan. I am not sure how effective to show someone actually purchase an insurance if just turning in an insurance quote....

Like many have said - healthcare.gov select your qualifying life event, usually this is moving to a new location, and do not follow the options for subsidy calculation, just look at full price plans for your zip code. There will be many different plans available. It’s a really simple and intuitive site. I checked the companies and plans on this website and then contacted the health insurance company directly to see if they had less expensive options of going direct to them. I was told by the company that we chose that we had to arrive in the US and apply for the policy by the 15th of the month for coverage to start the first of the following month. They said to apply without a SSN and add it within 60 days.

I printed the name and extension of the lady that I spoke with, the plan details and prices and will give to my husband to show at his interview.

I’ve been out of the US for the last 8 years and this is how I’m planning to get the health insurance as my employer doesn’t offer coverage.
