Frazzled - making a visit without making it look like I'm emigrating

Well - back a while ago me and thte man decided what a good idea fr me to hook another visit before the visa - at that time we were waiting on CSC to issue a NOA2 - but of course that came about a week ago - so I thought, ok no worries, probably be at NVC by the time I fly - but nooo - they have to go n get all efficient and pass it right thru NVC in double quick time and its now about to land on someone's desk at London  And I fly out tomorrow morning

So..gotta make sure I don't LOOK as if I'm moving IN now - don't have a job so can't add that - got my copy NOA2 tho, and a bank statement, and my daughter's holiday flight details (I have to be back to meet her flight! lol) - BUT I also wanted to take some 'stuff' over but I can't take anything that LOOKS like its 'moving in stuff' (I opted for some photo albums)..

Of course they are damn heavy and this means my not-very-large-bag to check in now has hardly any room in it for enough clothing for 2 weeks

ARRRGH!

Now I'm running around like a chicken with its head cut off - trying to 'do' everything and pack and all that so I can leave at the crack of dawn (no offence there Welshie  ) tomorrow.

Then I KNOW I'm going to stew on the plane worrying about POE (and the fact Ive watched a whole weeks worth of 'air crash investigation' on Nat Geog channel last week) and probably arrive looking 100 years old!

Blurgh....

Today is gonna be stress-city... 14.gif

I did exactly the same - came for a visit after NOA2 and before interview - and I didn't have any probs at POE. I brought 2 suitcases stuffed to the gunnels too! (They can't see your luggage until after you have passed through immigration)

So chill and have a wonderful trip!

Surely your NOA2 would prove to them that you have to go back for the visa interview. That along with the other stuff (daughters holiday flight, etc) will surely be okay. What is your POE?

Damn I was hoping you'd say O'hare (love that place). ;)

I'd have all that info, plus your return ticket, in hand ready to show it if they ask. But I bet you'll be fine -you have nothing to hide!

Indeed no - I really MUST get back in time for my daughter's flight lol.

I will have the return ticket - its all e-tickets but they count :)

Still pondering taking another small bag now - tho really its nothing that can't wait - and as I have to carry it - probably better to leave it lol
