K1 I-134 Form Questions

Hello,

 

I am the petitioner and currently a student (graduate from college in May) and I hold a part-time job, but I do not make the income requirement for form I-134. 

 

My mom has agreed to sponsor my fiancee, and she makes well over the income requirement. 

 

My question is, do we both fill out separate I-134's and provide supporting information? 

 

Also just to make sure, does my fiancee, the beneficiary, have to supply any financial information at the time of the K1 interview?

 

We are going through the London Embassy!

Q1. Yes you both fill out the necessary I-134 and submit copies of the required documents. Here is a outline of what is needed. Keep in mind that this list can be edited by your embassy but this is the most current and most asked items for the submission of the I-134 for any embassy.  In other words, you can't fail by not having enough evidence if you follow the outline I'm about to give you.

 

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT: You must submit any evidence which will show that you and members of your family who will accompany you are not likely to become public charges while in the United States. Visa petitioner (US Citizen) will have to complete form I-134. If the petitioner does not qualify as a sponsor, a Joint-Sponsor should ALSO be presented (any US Citizen living in the US or Legal Permanent Resident), who will also have to complete form I-134. Both, the Sponsor (Petitioner) as well as the Joint-Sponsor, will have to present last year's income tax return transcripts. W2 form and proof of current and sustainable income (e.g letter of employment on letterhead including salary and start date, most recent salary receipts, bank accounts, the value of properties, etc.). My mother is a co-sponsor for my visa petition for my fiancee. 

 

We are both planning to fill out form I-134 for the visa interview in London.

 

Are there any issues if my mother puts me as a dependent (the petitioner) on her part of the form? I currently am a student and I do live at home. She makes way over the income requirement too. 

I also have a part-time job and I am graduating in May.
