Reapplying for ESTA?

My Aussie partner visited the U.S. in November under an ESTA. It was granted in November and the passport stamp/I-94 says that it expired on 02/02/2020. She was only in the U.S. for a week and a half.

She would like to visit me in April and I'm seeking clarification on her reapplying for an ESTA. Would there be any issues or things we need to be aware of with her reapplying?

*I'm also sending off our I-129F tomorrow and we're looking at ways to show that she's just visiting, like a return ticket, house lease, work agreement etc...

I'm confused because on the ESTA website it says that it expires on Nov. 4, 2021? Is that how long that initial ESTA is good for and since she used that one she needs a new one?

You’re confusing the expiry of the ESTA with her authorized stay per visit (that's the i94). She can visit again on the same ESTA, she will get a new date of authorized stay next time.

Thank you for the clarification @SusieQQQ! It makes sense now. So to be sure she can fly to the U.S. with no need to do anything with her ESTA?

From what you posted above, her ESTA is valid for use until November 2021. On each entry she will get a new i94.
There are situations which would invalidate her ESTA before its expiry: She must be very careful to never overstay her allowed time (i94] on each visit - this is 90 days for those entering on ESTA -or she will lose her ESTA privileges. She would also have to reapply for ESTA if she was denied entry, so your idea of bringing her bringing proof that each ESTA trip is temporary is a solid one.
