Waiting for NOA2

Hello guys. Filed I-129f.  Got NOA1 on June 19th 2019. Still waiting for NOA2 l. Anyone here still waiting after so long? I feel like I need to vent. Where else can I safely vent if not here with you guys?

I’m sure that there are. I know it might not feel that way and this process can feel isolating, but you have to let the process take its course. 
 

I know exactly what you are feeling, we waited 2 YEARS and just about lost my mind. I’m sure there are others who weren’t so lucky and waited even longer. Don’t compare your case with others, it will make thus process harder than it already is.

Lili_K has a very good idea. You are out of normal processing time so you should either email or call USCIS and make an inquiry. You never know. You may have been approved and the information not got to you. 

 

Some info to contact USCIS/NVC:

• Here is the Ask NVC online form I used to contact them by email: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html
• The research request I sent to: NVCResearch@state.gov
• The NVC phone number for K1 visas is: 603-334-0888
• USCIS online inquiries: https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do
  • I selected "Case outside normal processing time"
  • FYI I haven't yet received a response to the inquiry I submitted here
• The USCIS phone number is: 800-375-5283
• USCIS recently changed their phone menus and made it VERY hard to get an agent on the phone. I used the advice on this site to get through to a person: https://gethuman.com/phone-number/US-Citizenship-Immigration-Service-USCIS
  • Get to a live person fastest: Press 1 for English, then 1, then 2, then 2. After the final 2, press # each time it prompts you to enter a number. You will need to do this three times.

Also, don't forget to check the Old and New USCIS status update websites. The old one seems to have been working better than the new one. Check them both, don't rely on just one.

I called when it was 7 months and a lady said I had like a month to wait. I sent an online inquiry and I got a response that the wait was due to security checks. That was before the ban was announced.

If it has been 30 days since you have reached out to USCIS then I would recommend that you make another inquiry.

Thanks Greenbaum. I don't think it has been. I remember when I did the inquiry, they said they will get to me latest the 10th. But they got back to me before February 10th. So I will waiting.
