Timeline

One of the requirement of using intending immigrant’s income is a statement from the current employer mentioning the employment/income will continue after the employee obtains the LPR status. It’s mentioned in i864 instructions.
It depends on how strict the officer reviewing your case is. Just hope he/she takes it easy with that. Good luck.

Letter of Employment should be enough. I sent it and my rfe was removed

In your case that letter may have been sufficient and i hope the same for the OP’s case as well, however one shouldn’t conclude it’s sufficient when the instructions says otherwise. Some officers are lenient while some are strict. It just depends on who is reviewing the case.

 

Some people are getting RFEs while some are directly denied without any RFEs after the new policy. One getting RFE can’t say to others it’s ok even if it’s missing some docs, they will send the RFE coz that person could be the one getting denied without any RFE.
