Congratulations!

Did you have any issues with signing into CEAC? Initially, I had no issues and even paid my AOS and IV fee, but now it's locking me out. The statement I get back is "The selected Case Number and Invoice Identification Number combination you entered does not match our records." I read a thread that said when they called the rep just told them to wait. The fee payments have cleared my bank account 3 days ago and it's still not letting me sign in. I guess I'll have to give them a call and find out what's going on.

Thank you! Looks our timelines are really only a couple of days away from each other now.

I read from others that the system is generally rather unstable. I paid the fees two days ago and yesterday they charged my bank account. I get the same error message you have, but if I keep trying it lets me in eventually. Waiting for payments to be processed and switch to paid.

Hope you can get back in again soon :(

Did your hubby already get the police certificate? Do you know what exactly he asked for at the directorate of criminal investigation?

Hello,

Just wanted to update you that we got Abu Dhabi as interview location.

Now trying to find out what the visa process is, to even get there...

Yay! Glad you jumped though another hoop. Good Luck. Ive never had to deal with VISAs to Abu Dhabi so Im not sure how hard/easy it will be. I would hope (and this is a big stretch seeing how we are dealing with US immigration and thinking logically) that there is something in place to allow for VISA's to be issued due to the fact that you have an interview.

Awe you are too sweet ❤️

Did you hear anything in the mean time?

The fun thing about Abu Dabi is that I (German Citizen) don't need a visa but my hubby does. Agree with you. The interview should hopefully make it easy to obtain 🙏

Nope, Not a word.

Wish life wouldn't be on hold. I worry every single day that something bad will happen to my husband. Iraq is getting worse every day. My husband tells me some of what is going on, but I know he doesn't tell me everything trying to protect me (cause that is what Iraqi husbands do. :)

Haha very true. I am likely flying to Baghdad at the end of the month. I was there until early January, but we left on the third and I am thankful that we did...

I'm very sorry that you didn't hear anything yet. I almost feel guilty that we are having a run currently. But who knows. You have been DQed since last year, right? And you were not even assigned a new post for interview yet?

No. we haven't been DQed. I dont know why. It's like everything is just stuck. The last time I called NVC they said your still in process. The operator wasn't helpful.

Also, we got Nebraska so we got I-130 approval in 301 days.

Makes me crazy

ohhh I see. So you have submitted everything and they don't work on it. Meh... Did they change your post in the online portal? Ours was changed online only.

Did you/your husband submit the police certificate?

Everything is submitted and double checked by our lawyer just to make sure all the documents were EXACTLY how they wanted.

I check every single day to see if anything has changed on our case.

Yes we submitted Police certificate.

I'm so sorry to hear :( Did they at least assign your interview location now that they checked your case?

They assigned our case to Ankara a few weeks ago.

Im really confused as to what is going on. Im waiting to hear back from a supervisor at NVC as I never got a notice that the request for expedite was denied. The "computer" says they sent it, but I never got it and all my contact info is correct in their system. The person I talked to at NVC was unable to even open the message that said why it was denied.
